I haven't started yet...But I do it every year. smile

There was a time in my life that this thread and my kids gave me the only happiness I had. It has a special place in my soul.

The camp is the same way. It's not mine... It's Dave and Pam's. But part of me is there. There to this date, been no other place on earth that I can get as good of a nights sleep as I can at chickenbuck.

Camp is where you make it.

Northern Dave, I'm really enjoying the story and pictures of the evolution of your deer camp,And I appreciate all the folks that have added to it.

'Course the pics of those big ol' North country bucks aren't bad either! grin

Thanks, I'm glad this big mess can bring enjoyment for someone.

I got a call from T Zone today. Deflave's in town and the boys were meeting for some adult beverages up in Blaine. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it. I'm sure they had a great time.

Will you be a part of that Goalie, or do you have to cross the line?

Mr CEJ1895 has parted with a fine scope, donated to Joey for his first deer rifle.

Pics to come (when we receive and mount it)

Thanks again CEJ1895!

I will not be on strike. I will be working in my usual role (rapid response team) trying to actually keep people safe, you know, like the nurses picketing outside will have on their signs and stuff.

This whole thing is going to be one huge cluster@*&#&. I predict the nurses being locked out and it getting stupid quickly.

He was a jar-head. He'll pull the bolt, look through the bore, and have it roughly on 8.5x11 paper at 25 or 50 on the first shot.

Going to take the kids out shooting today. May even have to field bore-sight one ourselves.

Gopher, we're going to run some rounds through that .243 today.
