I used it in a .300 Win Mag...smoking right along. Killed deer, elk, gemsbok, springbok, kudu,zebra, and eland with it. It worked good! You had a hell of a tan in those days, Poobs. Oh, you are on the RIGHT in that photo..... That makes more sense. Oh, for a PSA, I couldn't log on yesterday afternoon because I couldn't see. Went back up the mountain early afternoon to clear shooting lanes, was hot and humid and didn't take my safety glasses, bout midway through and big chunk of wood flew up from an ax strike. Got my head turned and lid closed in time to no avail, it poked me right in the eyelid/eyeball then slapped my cheekbone. Watery eyes, stuffed up sinuses, and spitting a lot, Wifey doctored me up good last night, much better today, just a 1/2" cut on my eyelid and bloodshot eyeball. Be careful out there Men!

LOL, nice Gemsbok, I remember when I had red/brown hair and whiskers too. What Happened? I earned my grey/white hair. Besides, the chicks think it makes you look "distinguished"...at least until you're 45...then they just say it makes you look old.

Actually it almost did. I popped him right where you are supposed to and off he went, for half a mile. I've been "salt and pepper" for a good while, and the salt percentage has been on the rise. College age chicks have called me sir for years now. When I was young, green, and clueless I missed what was in retrospect a pass made by a very good looking divorcee of about forty, and if I'd have understood the situation I'd have never turned her down. Man was I dumb.
