Burned my buck tag on it.
Will try to avoid a repeat this yr.

Buy the bundle tag deal (one buck, two does).
Could zip a decent doe in archery, then pop a nice buck in gun........and then try for a trophy dink.
We can self check-in deer now, no need to go to processor/station and show off.

That I should accept critique from someone who not only shoots a .270, but a Mark V Weatherby as well defies all logic and all that is Holy.

Thanks. Kinda fond of Blackwidow recurves.
Had 3 built, owned 3 used metal riser models.
Currently run a '72 HF1225.
Would like another HS58.........but don't need it.
One in pic was not FF rated, and was 60#.
Shoulda kept it, but on some days it was a little more than I liked.

A recurve dink, even at 25 yards and hitting where aimed.........is still a dink.

The bow was cool, but it did wear a stabilizer, a K tech with Mathews S coil module. Did help balance and took a little noise out. Was tolerable without it though.

The HF 1225 wears no stabilizer.

Ahem.. the 6.8 spc is a runt .270. whistle

I'd buy Weatherby long before a Remington 700. wink

I'd buy a Winchester M 70 or Mauser 98 long before I'd buy either of the above. grin

You got one out of three mostly right.

the .270 is for those wanting to shoot a .277 cal bullet, but also wanting to overcompensate.

The 6.8 is for those secure in their masculinity.

The 6.8 is for those tired of getting beat up for the overcompensation, though with the smaller round, very little is lost in TG.

*Total Gayness.

I am sensing a great deal of animosity building up towards The Judge...even before the Dink-a-thon begins this year.

Not everyone can walk away a winner, you know.

Unless you guys want me to start presenting you with "Participation Trophies" like they do in the Special Olympics...

Suck it up, get out there and hunt.

Do not force me to wield my considerable power...

How dare you equate the Participants of the Dinkathon with the Participants of the Special Olympics.

You are being needlessly rude to the S.O. Participants, and quite possibly insulting their intelligence!!
