Any one read any good books about? Why the eff would anyone be interested in this scumbag? Escobar had zero redeeming qualities.

Killing Pablo by Mark Bowden This is a great read, it explains the life and times of the people of Columbia, both in government and the private citizens, the depth of corruption and the grip poverty has on that country. And how Pablo's own brutality turned the country against him. You won't put it down.

Killing Pablo by Mark Bowden That's a good one. Drug Lord is another great read. It's about Pablo Acosta. Dave

A friend of mine was in possession of Pablo Escobar's Sig 226 that was in his hand when he was killed. I'm not sure what he did with it, I know he doesn't have it anymore...I'm sure he made a pretty penny though. He sent me a photo, but I didn't get to see it in the flesh.
Whomever seized it for posterity went to great lengths to keep it exactly in the shape it was in when collected. It's pretty dirty, and a bit beat up.
