This is a one minute slide show about how I bought more Pachmayr flush mount swivels, bored them out, and put Uncle Mike's sling studs inside, so I could use the oddball threads cut in the stuck and and have a normal sling stud.

I could attach a sling with bailing wire, but I cannot attach at bipod to a B78 without something like this or.... drill new holes in the stock.. which I did not want to do.

Did you have any trouble getting the old inserts out of the stock and forearm? I was under the impression they were epoxied in and might tear the wood.

No. The sling loop rocks out, and the threaded body has a wide slot that takes a straight screwdriver.

The new Pachmayr inserts I bought to modify had ~ 0.001" minor diameter increase and did not want to go in. I put wax on them and they twisted in.
