Hi all,
I bought some new bolts for my crossbow and they all had price stickers on the shaft, which I cleaned off with Goo Gone. It worked wonderfully well, but left the smell of Goo Gone on my bolts, which I would like to get rid of. What will neutralize the smell of Goo Gone and not leave another odor to deal with? I already wiped the bolts with a wet (with water) paper towel, but can't tell if that did the job well enough for a deer's nose. Anybody have any recommendations?
Thanks,
kstockfo

Isn't Goo Gone petroleum based? Probably hafta use something stronger to get the residue off. (alcohol?)

Use lighter fluid. It'll have a strong smell but it will evaporate quickly leaving no odor.
