This is local to me. Clean low crime area, used to be a small rural town that is growing a lot now with new businesses all over, but we've started having a couple gang shootings in the last few years. I suspect this one is gang related as well. Staying frosty, and packing every day, as always.
There are some pics out of the guy. The media tried to initially say "Hispanic". He does not appear to be. Time will tell.
Something is pretty sketchy with this one, but as with all things during the initial aftermath, information is often not accurate and lots of thing need verified for accuracy.

This article says the shooting happened in the makeup department in a Macy's store. This sounds targeted attack rather than random shooter to me. A domestic dispute or maybe an angry employee of some sort?

It will be interesting to see the names of the victims. The majority of targets attacks happen within the same race. If one or more of the female victims were Hispanic, perhaps it was a Hispanic lovers spat. If they all sound like something else, that's less likely.

Dude probably took the rifle that was laying around, loaded up, and shot her. Curious if the one man killed was her new boyfriend, a manager he suspected of getting to close to his girl, or just a guy who got in the way.
Terribly sad.

I shake my head when the media or someone says they look "Hispanic." What does a Hispanic look like? It is like saying someone looks "Cajun." Hispanic is an ethnicity. Saying he looked Latino would be more accurate. He could be Brazilian which would nix the Hispanic thingy, but I wouldn't be surprised if he turns out to be Middle Eastern or similar decent when this is all figured out.
Seriously though, the perp in the picture looks more like a friggin raghead to me.

Not too many ragheads around there but a chitload of wetbacks. He yelled a woman's name before shooting so it appears to be a targeted hit. I'm sure if he yelled a name that there's a clue as to nationality.
