Nice looking rifle. Really like the looks of those stocks.

Pierce? Nice looking rig. What was weight before scope? 6lbs 10oz, I like heavier sporter contours so we removed weight by cutting 21" and keep shank under 1" 12 twist .710 MD Very very nice! What bullets do you plan on shooting? 155 VLD's is what I've been using for few yrs. Accurate and kills'em

I like that a lot! I've got light sporters and Sendero-ish stuff in overlapping chamberings, but I often think that a well-thought-out "tweener" might could be the best option. A 21" .308 with a .700" or so muzzle seems like a good place to be.
What scope is that?
Now with even more aplomb

'tweeners rock! I'm a big fan of 'tweeters. Stiff enough tube to shoot well, portable enough to hunt with

Yeah, that's a beautiful rifle. Congratulations, I'm sure it will shoot great.

That is sweet and is an inspiration. You have helped me confirm my "need" for another tweener short action. Thinking 18-20" 6.5 Creed to run suppressed.

Not sure how one can consider a sub 7 lb. rifle a 'tweener, but......ok.
Nice stick Stoney......

Heck never heard the name 'tweener', though I've not been around 24hr much this summer to keep up with the 24hr slang. Exploded view
