Too bad you are not interested in the 8x in the SLC; as I am going to be listing for sale soon a 8x42 SLC ( in HD) in excellent condition- and the price will be quite reasonable. I've tried to fall in love with 8x binos. I just can't. I grew up using good 10x glass and the 8x leaves me wanting more. Good luck with the sale!

Although I find myself carrying the 8x more.
