Would like to use this stock for my REMAGE light varmint barreled Rem ADL 700. I realize it is channeled for a magnum contour barrel. Just outside the channel on the HS on top of the forend there is what looks like in pics I see on line are 3/16" to 1/4" "flats" before the sides of the forend begin. If you own this stock could you measure the distance from outside the edge of the flat on one side across to the other outside edge of the flat on the other side for me? Need measurement about 1" back from tip of forend.
I can't find this stock in "person" anywhere to get this measurement.
