Chase -
Very nice. I've been a fan of the #1s a long time. Have owned a couple just never got THE one I wanted.
The A H fore end is so much better (to me) than the S B (semi beaver tail).
I prefer smooth barrels to the front sight models. I don't know if the sightless model is still available. The last time I was on the Ruger web site they had reduced the models available a lot.
Good luck

Jerry, Thanks for the kind words. I was the same way. Always wanted a No. 1 but had to be the right rifle. This was it for me.
Ruger has basically given the keys to the car to Lipsey's, the distributor out of Louisiana, to drive the No. 1 program. Going forward there will basically be six new configurations a year in limited runs. So maybe before too long your rifle will come up.

Chase, Fine looking rifle. Is that one from the special run Dallas Gun Collectors had made a few years back, or new production?

This is from the 2016 Lipsey's run. Supposedly it shipped from Lipsey's Tuesday and I picked it up yesterday. I ordered it a while back right when the announcement was made back in July.

Be interesting to see a #1 in a .300 Whelen.

Is it stamped 275 Rigby, or 7x57? I had a Ruger 77 in 7x57 for a while, it shot pretty well.

These rifles are stamped 275 Rigby but they are bored to .284 for American 275 rigby and 7x57 Mauser rounds...it comes with a sticker on the box that says it might not shoot true euro 275 rigby with the .287 bullets
