I'll start. It really is a special place. Sure, it has its ups and downs, it spits in spats, and its snarky malarkey, but I don't know of another forum that affords its members the kind of freedom to say what they want and largely self police themselves. It's a double edged sword, but that's the price you pay for freedom. The vast majority of the guys on this forum are first class. They're always available to lend a hand or advice or shoot you a thoughtful PM when one of life's tragedies lands in your lap.

* There's a wealth of knowledge here... buried under an Everest of [fecal material]. For those with the fortitude to sift through it, there's quite a bit to be gained.
* There are tremendous members here (see caveat above). I've had the opportunity to meet & hunt with almost a plethora of them. I'll publicly claim that I'd meet/hunt with all of them again.
