Just wanted to reach out and touch base as I've been pretty absent the past month or so.
As some of you know I got married on Sept 18th which had me all kinds of busy and distracted since the beginning of Sept.
About a week before the wedding my Pop took sick which also took me away from work related situations.
Unfortunately my Pop passed away October 1st. I've kinda been in and out since then taking care of family matters as well as figuring out how to cope with coming into our family business without him around.
For the most part I am back in the store. So if I did not reply to a PM or an e-mail, I am sorry. I am doing my best to catch up and get back on top of things. Thanks for your understanding.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Prayers in your behalf.

And congrats on the marriage.

Doug,

No apologies needed, my friend. After all, getting married to the love of your life and losing your father are singular events in everyone's lifetime. They are WAY more important than money and business ... and we all totally understand.

Karen and I extend our deepest sympathy and condolences on the death of your father.

We WILL pray for your Dad's soul and for the healing of you and your entire family ... count on it.

Blessings,

Your friend Steve

Am sending prayers for you and your family, Doug. You guys have been the epitome of professionalism and customer service for many years, and it is appreciated more than you will ever know. And with your demos and deals of the day, you've put great optics within the grasp of many who otherwise may not be able to afford them.

As to you apologizing: there is no need. Family always comes first. Blessings on your marriage and prayers for peace and comfort on the loss of your Dad...

Doug, sounds like you had a bittersweet experience for sure and very similiar to mine . My son came into this world only to lose his only grandmother(my mother) 9 days later. I have to tell you that was one of the most trying times of my life. If I told you how many times I was asked "when are you settling down and giving me grandkids". Best of Wishes

Doug, my sincerest condolences. And congratulations on your new bride. As mentioned above, it's odd to touch on both in one breath. I wish you the best on both fronts and hope that your family is coping well with the loss of your dad.

Doug, I am sure your Father is watching over you and your families business. Take comfort in remembering the years you had together and the new addition to your life.
