I have a Savage 99 in .243 I bought about 3 years ago. Was out hunting with it yesterday and realized the TANG safety doesn't work.
She will shoot with the safety in either position.
Any of you guys have any experience with this problem?
How difficult is this to fix?

Yes, I had a .250 Saddle Gun that would do that. I ended up tweaking the link that goes from the trigger up to the tang.
It's not very straight forward. About all you can do is pull the butt stock and try to see where it's not making contact and correct from there.
