Another great win for the Crimson Tide!
It came with a big price though. Eddie Jackson broke his leg and is done with college football.
That more than sucks.

Can you believe the line was -19. Dropped to 18 and the actual wound up at -19? Does Vegas have a lock on this stuff or what?
Let's hope they are wrong about the POTUS lines.

Hate to here that about the Tide player. I predict BAMA will go in to win another National Title again this year. With the way there DF is able to score, and a very talented OF, I certainly don't see any other team being able to stop them.

Whilst I am new to watching college football, given what I have seen this year I believe you are spot on.

Sure wish the Aggies had ole Nick Saban. There's a lot of colleges that wish the same thing.

Sure wish the Aggies had ole Nick Saban. It ain't just Nick, but He is good. Alabama players were bigger, faster and stronger than the Arkansas ones, when we played them, and just about as good sitting on the bench. A&M and Auburn almost the same. I keep wondering why good ones will go to Alabama and sit for years, instead of going elsewhere and playing, but they seem to do just that. Alabama gets a bunch 5 star recruits and Arkansas gets 1 or 2 that are 3 and 4 star. Backups are not even rated. Makes life tough in the SEC West. miles

The best go to Bama because of Saban. UT can't figure that out.

It's been a hell of a ride! Saban needs 8 more consecutive wins to catch Coach Stallings and Bear Bryant at 28 consecutive wins. Saban leads by example. He wants his players and coaches to improve every week, therefore he has to improve, improvise and change every week as well. What I'm getting at is Saban is getting better all the time. Players are willing to sit on the bench and wait their turn because they are learning more sitting there than playing anywhere else.
ROLL TIDE!

Players are willing to sit on the bench and wait their turn because they are learning more sitting there than playing anywhere else. Learning what? Are they all planning to coach in the future? I don't think the NFL drafts people that sat on the bench their whole career, even if it was Alabama. A few might walk into camp and get a tryout, but most likely not. I figure getting your face and name on TV helps a lot in getting that next shot. miles

One can learn quite a bit in 4 or 5 years at UA, especially when you buy into Saban's "process". A big part of Saban's mission, or "process" is to teach young men how to make the right choices which will enable them to be successful later in life. He teaches more than football and graduation rates have drastically improved during Saban's tenure.
Another way to look at it is you are only one play away from being a starter. Look at what happened to Eddie Jackson. His backups are ready to step up because they bought in to the "process".

One can learn quite a bit in 4 or 5 years at UA, Another problem that we have is the good ones leave early for the draft, with a lot going undrafted, when they could have helped the team and maybe their draft chances with another year. More so in Basketball than football, but enough in football that it hurts us, especially when we get so few really good ones. miles

The Saban as a role model thing is a load of crap. College football coaches are as cut throat as anybody else. They are there to win, and make money. Which go hand in hand.
Saban flat out QUIT his job in the NFL. After going 1-15 in his final season.
His hypocritical comments on Blake Barnett when he left Bama were an absolute joke, calling the kid a quitter.
Fuuk Saban.....

Fuuk Saban..... This isn't coming from a "Michigan" or "Michigan State" fan by any chance, is it?😀 (Both of whom have had their ass handed to them by Bama in the not too distant past😜).

Barnett was one hit away from starting on a national championship contender. He has been told his whole life that he's the "best thing since sliced bread", a "super star". The problem was, he couldn't accept the fact that he was only the second best QB on his team. The job was his to lose and that's exactly hat happened. He saw the writing in the wall with another "super star" QB coming next year as well. He likes to "shine". He just doesn't like to have to "earn" the right to "shine". Unfortunately, he was the victim of his own ego..

The same Saban who quit on the Dolphins. But by all means, blame it on the kid......

Saban had 3 years left on his contract. Don't believe Barnett had a contract. Not only is it the pot calling the kettle black, it shows no class whatsoever toward the young man....
