IMR4350
If you run across some RL17, give that a try.

Varget, that is what the Palma shooter use for the 800, 900, and 1000 yard competition with 155 grain bullets. IIRC they use 46.3 grains but work up your load.

Another powder to try, if you can get your hands on some, is Ramshot Big Game.

Mathman you are correct I did get the cartridges mixed up. I'm with the IMR 4350 use with this combo.

Do you have IMR 4064? Good stuff in the'06 & .308Win.

Bryant,
Sometimes Big Game works a little better with magnum primers, even with 150's in the .30-06. But you may have to cut the max load a little. Right now I'm loading 56.0 grains with Federal 215's and 150 Nosler AccuBonds, and getting superb accuracy right around the top velocity in Ramshot's data, a little over 3000 fps. Ramshot's max charge is 57.5 with 150 AB's.

57.8 gn big game did pretty good about a one inch group. I may play with seating depth and see if they will tighten up. Most likely I'll stick with my trusty sierra 165 gk's.
