Starsky and I went on a Colorado safari for a few days. Good times, a couple laughs here and there and some tasty vittles for the freezer. Our backs and feet are a little sore but that's part of the fun. starsky let me pull the trigger this year, which was nice... And then he whacked a nice elk... Backpack hunting in my home state is about as good as it gets for me. Tanner

Great job by both of you, now tell us about the packout. Those are 2 large bodied critters. The Elk and Deer are pretty big too.

There ya go, posting pictures of illegally taken game. The mandatory 500 inches of fluorescent orange is missing and the scope looks like it had a laser dot sight on it at one time. Good grief, what else can someone find wrong with a terrific hunting trip? Enjoy that backcountry while your legs and lungs are still good!

Was that bull a hoss or is Tuner just a good photographer? Pretty average sized, IMO. We were both very glad that 30338 decided to lend a helping pair of legs to get it out. His deer had one of the biggest bodies I've ever seen, though that's hard to see in the picture with both of us behind it.
