I am very sorry to hear that. I last my dog last spring to a brain tumour. It really breaks you up. Prayers sent your way.

Sorry to hear about your pal. We lost our Golden this summer. It is heartbreaking but we have a lot of good memories. Best wishes. He is on my avatar.

I guess we all feel Your pain , if you are going to own a dog you will go thru this sooner or later, I'm really sorry for your loss almost like losing a child , but You never forget them and you will always have the memories.
I am in Law Enforcement and have trained and used dogs for Narcotic and cadavar detection for the last 20 yrs. and everyone of them that I have had were special and did a lot of special things that I will always remember.

I lost my 8 yr old lab to bumper blight about 1.5 years ago. It's hard on a guy. I'd built a platform on the back of my atv and she rode all over the hills with me. She also loved my fishing boat.
She's since been replaced with another lab that's a little over a year old now.

Been there three times myself, bro, and it never gets any
easier. I'm talking about a loyal, pure-bred Labrador, one
German Wirehaired Pointer, and one Wirehaired Pointing
Griffon. That was all I could handle; haven't owned a dog
since. Tears up my wife, too.

I'm sorry to here of your lose.. I have had some great dogs over the years and love to sit and talk about them. Have pictures of them all. Start you a scrap book of these great pets and hunting partners and remember them in their prime...PS..The best thing to help a broken heart..is a new puppy..Hoot
