"The doctors said today they have never seen a child improve as well and as fast as Clara, she's a tough little girl. Her birthday is this Thursday, she'll be 11, so sad she has to be there for it."
Well, she certainly has a lot of people praying for her and it's evident that God is on her side.
I'm still praying for her and will keep it up.
What a sad thing to have happen.

Update on Clara: I spent a few days with Clara and her mom in Seattle recently and Clara is doing much better than was expected or even hoped for. The doctors have never seen a recovery like Clara's, EVER!
She went from near complete paralysis on her left side to being able to walk unassisted and use her left arm and hand about 80% of normal now in 4 weeks. Clara and I tossed a small, soft ball back and forth with her using her left arm and hand. She threw it fast! She rode a stationary recumbent bicycle with reciprocating handle bars recently for over 2 miles. She got to go to the Seattle zoo Sunday for a couple hours and had dinner out. Her mom bought her some nice shoes at REI that really help her walk.
Clara used to be really good in math but she's having trouble with it now. She has to get "warmed up" (her words) but when she does, it comes back to her. Mom is going to work with her using flash cards at home to keep her brain in shape. She still has a little trouble making decisions but she's getting better. She just turned 11 but the doctors think she will be able to drive when the time comes.
She get's to go home this Thursday, the 3rd. She'll have to go back to Seattle for a day or two toward the end of this month for another CT scan, then maybe in December she can have her skull flap replaced. She still wears her special helmet anytime she's out of bed of course.
If Clara would have been at her home in the woods instead of at her brothers house in town she wouldn't have made it. Her brother has CPR and survival training and figured out the problem immediately and got Clara to the ER which is 5 minutes from his house.
This truly is a miracle guys! We can't thank all of you enough for all your thoughts, prayers and donations to her gofundme!
