I heard mention of these a while back but can't find them now on the Rossi site.

Did I miss the boat?

i have one that goes with me every minute out doors. it is accurate to 100 yards and deadly to anything i may encounter here
including griz. i even like the added tube port for quick loading/unloading. mine is stainless and lives in a scabbard in my utv. rain, snow or sunshine.
have heard folks bad mouth them but the only bad thing i will say is their wood sucks. i carved a new butt stock out of walnut, but left the monkey wood forearm.

About a year ago I had a customers .454 Rossi 92. It would not feed for anything, I sent it back to Rossi and they claimed nothing was wrong with the gun and used Winchester ammo to test it. My customer could not get that ammo and I had to rework the action to feed his factory ammo. Mel

Love mine! I shoot 45 Colt ammo for plinking and the .454 ammo for the big stuff. I also like the fact that instead if a loading gate, it has a loading tube, like an old Marlin .22 rifle has. Much faster to load, IMO.
