Camp Isabella is loaded on the trucks and will be up and running tomorrow afternoon.

If the internet gods smile on us I will post some from camp. Good luck TJ, I enjoy your camp updates. Same goes for me, If I find myself in the right deer stand with a bit of battery life on my phone, I will try to update as well.

I was a guest on a friend's deer lease this morning.No deer were seen or harmed during this event.
I was hopeful cause he killed a nice buck off of this box stand last week. We heard bucks fighting in the woods and I was hopeful a doe would come out followed by a sizeable would be suitor but alas, it didn't happen.
Oh well, at least it was a day in the woods. So far this week I have hunted Tuesday, Wednesday and today.
Next week I am called up for jury duty. Just when we are supposed to start getting a nice cold front.

got tomorrow off and heading for the new deer camp.
rifles ,clothes ,provisions ,everything packed and ready to go about 6am.

Good luck everyone. Headed up to camp this morning. Then back home to watch Alexandria beat Sartell-St Stephen at St Johns tonight (I hope). It sure is fun to watch the excitement from a 12 year old! And truth be told, my 21 year old brother may be have been bitten even harder with the deer bug!
I post this every year, but:
1. Be safe with those tree stands!!!
2. Muzzle Control
3. Know your target and what is beyond
4. Treat every gun as if it is loaded

I just loaded the brown 77 f150 with propane tanks, food, beer, clothes, seven long guns and other assorted gear. The value of this truck is normally around $1500. It's currently worth around $15000 with contents included. Lol!
