Looking for opinions on a Cerakote project. Would you be better off with a gunsmith who you are comfortable with their work, but is new w Cerakote (not certified). Or, an authorized Cerakote outfit that you have no firsthand experience w? Thanks for any feedback.

Is Eddie Fausnaugh that talented to drive 3.5 hours to get to his location for me? Basically, what makes his work "that" good?

I'd drive 3.5 hours for rifle work from Eddie in a heartbeat.
Do a search and look at the attention to detail and quality of his work. You'll notice that everybody and their brother recommend him and for good reason. I don't think I've seen, read, or heard a bad thing about him or his work, Give him a call or shoot him an email. He's quick to respond and helpful.
Quick note...when I pinged him a few weeks ago, he said he might take a little time to hunt. Just a FYI.
