Anyone using one as a hunting day pack? Need one for hiking/hunting and a general purpose bag to throw some stuff in to go to the cabin for a night or two.

I adore mine. Covers all daypack needs, and can easily cover a light weekend away. I almost always have mine with me with at least a rain coat, snacks, etc.

What I needed to hear. Do you use separate pouches inside for organization?

Occasionally when I use it for work but that probably has more to do with my work stuff is already in individual pouches and I just throw them in.

I love mine. I use various stuff sacks for internal organization. The PALS pocket is nice to add on for some extra space outside. I usually run mine sans belt, but if you load it up I recommend the Recon Belt.
