Wow, I would want to practice often if my life was on the line daily....but folks do what they can or will.

Thanks again.

I like the S&W SD9VE but for the same price at CDNN Sports you can get a Ruger SR9E $299.99. https://www.cdnnsports.com/firearms.html#manufacturer=RUGER%C2%AE

I picked up a SD9 SV about 6 months ago for $250. My original plan was to use it as a cheap car gun. After putting about 500 rounds through it, I was impressed enough with it that i ordered a IWB holster and added it to my carry battery.

It has fed and fired every load I have put through it. Best accuracy is about 2.5-3" at 25 yards. Not target grade accuracy but perfectly acceptable. The trigger is the number one complaint I hear about them. Mine was 8# out of the box, but was very smooth and had a nice release. It reminded me of a tuned DA revolver trigger but much shorter travel. The break is crisp, and doesn't have a springy feel or "SPROING" that's a block has.

For $20 you can get a trigger spring kit fromage Apex. It lowered the pull on mine to just under 6 #. I honestly am not sure how much of an improvement it was and may go back to the stock springs. Both steam have been totally reliable. And the heavier springs give it a little firmer reset.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another, in my opinion it is one of the best deals going on a mid size 9mm.

That's Glock accuracy - plenty for its purpose. Good feedback
