Geezuz--I knnow that dirtbag Gerry Sickels. He got in trouble illegally killing a lion back in the 80's. Boy am I glad they busted him. He needs to lose his hunting privileges forever. I think he's done a lot more poaching then what he was charged with.

He got off easy, I'd like to see stiffer penalties for azzhats like him who poach year after year.

The sentences are damned light.
Personally, I want poaching to be charged with and as felony larceny, and carry those penalties.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

Would you consider filling an unsigned tag as poaching? Problem is......if you cheer government on for more fines and punishment....they will gladly do so, across the board. More spending for them, no problem. To hunt elk in Wyoming, we needed an elk tag, conservation stamp, elk management area stamp, archery permit, and a hunter safety copy. All requiring signature to be legal. Ours were all signed and legal. We stopped at a check-station and it was like the Gestapo checking to see if our papers were in order. The sentences are damned light.
