I regret having to post this AFTER Steely but... My Grandson is 11 YO and this is his first deer. He used my BDL 243 in SE Ark.  Don't let his age and inexperience influence any of you. It's a DINK contest. The GAUNTLET is thrown down! Ingwe, I have what I consider to be a front runner for the Dink-a-thon. Not only are the antlers small, but I used a 6mm Remington.
