Dave

I do agree with this.

Each custom rifle I had done with the thought of passing on to each kid in the future.

I think for the time being I'm going to hang on to them as there is nothing saying that I have to get rid of them.

Gledeasy: Re-selling custom Rifles is why I quit having custom Rifles made 20+ years ago!
Just to big of a hit when selling custom or wildcat cartridge Rifles.
I have enjoyed my Ackley Improved Rifles and still have a couple.
I have enjoyed my custom built Rifles and still have a couple but I am done with those type ventures.
Just to many accurate factory Rifles these days to choose from and myriads of calibers available as well.
Money invested in quality factory Rifles has a MUCH greater percentage of return than money spent on custom Rifles.
Been THERE done THAT!
Good luck if you decide to sell.

To those who have sold a custom rifle (that you have put together), ever any regrets in doing so?

Certainly things can be replaced, maybe even done differently. Just wanting to hear experiences on the matter.

When I sold my last wildcat I was so discussed I took it to the 'smith and had him disassemble it. He took the Christensen barrel for the labor of taking it apart. He purchased the trigger, also. I sold the Pierce titanium action to one guy and the rings and scope to another guy. I still have the carbon and graphite stock if anyone comes up with $250 bucks.

What was wrong with the barrel? Was it carbon wrapped?

Are you serious about selling the stock? Thanks .
