Do you do it all yourself if you get one? I am keeping my shop set up for processing through muzzle-loading since I am going to go up to the cabin for the season.

Let me know if you want to come over if you get one.

Awesome Deb! Nice shooting!

David, I might take you up on that. I think I'll only be able to go on the last weekend now, but I'll let you know how it turns out.

Sounds good. One of my neighbors came over with a doe he got the other day. It was skinned and quartered in the fridge nice and quickly, then we boned it out and bagged it a few days later.

Here are a few pics of Jackhammers first deer.

I told him he had to drag it out. But I walked back to the truck to get the Otter Sled and make it a little easier on him. He did pull it all himself. It was about 1/4-1/3 of a mile back to the truck.

It was a great morning to be an 11 year old kid. It was a great morning to be a 39 year old dad too.

Thanks Stan. The congrats all go to him. The boy put in his time, there is no doubt about it. He's the poster child for knowing you don't see a deer every time out. This was the first one hes ever been able to get a shot at.

He's made several all day sits without seeing a deer, period.

Any of the Minnesota guys muzzle-loading this weekend?

I had two neighbors going up with me, and both had life interfere with hunting. Zone 241, managed so either sex, and bonus tag available if you already shot one.

Hey Goalie-if you need help cutting one up, let me know. It would be nice to cross paths with you again.

So I burned my gun tag on my buck. I can't ML hunt anywhere now right? I'm basically done? I don't have a spot in the metro area.
