I am in the process of getting a .223 load worked up for my 8yr old to try on a small deer, and have been going through a few bullets I have on the reloading table. I will likely be using Nosler bonder 64gr bullets, but came across a decent amount of 60gr lead tipped bullets I may also try. Problem is, I had them in a generic box, and have no idea who made them. They are a solid base bullet with cannelure, any guesses? Here are a few pics: ...and a few more with a couple Nosler 64gr bonded bullets and a 77gr SMK:

I would guess 60gr Hornady also.

I've looked at the Hornady's, and while they do look similar in jacket construction, the tips are different. The interlocks seem to have more exposed lead, whereas these are almost a protected point.

How old is this box of bullets would you guess? How long have you had them ? I only shot this weight bullet years ago and it looks like old old core lokts.
