You don't have to go to Israel to serve your country and enjoy the benefits of a few years of good physical conditioning. If you start young, you might create a habit of being in good shape that will last a "longer" lifetime.

I've been a firm believer of mandatory military service, such as Israel, Germany and Switzerland have...
besides some of the obvious benefits, some of the others would be that the crybaby snowflake crowd wouldn't exist... and people would have some patriotism.... instead of being leftist anti American and think that being so makes them 'cool'......
Probably would also pull the rug out from under the DemocRATS and who supports them also...
