The lead singer for Emerson Lake and Palmer and also of King Crimson fame has died at the age of 69 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. RIP Mr Lake you were one of the very best to ever grace the stage!!

Keith Emerson died in the recent past, think last year. That leaves Palmer as the last of the trio.

A professional rock singer [Farwest booking tavern circuit] was there with us and said Lake was singing everything an octave lower than on the album. Saw them in April of 71 on their debut tour at Thiel College in Greenville PA.
