This "The Russians did it" narrative has little if anything to do with Hillary and the 2016 election and Everything to do with the 2018 and especially the 2020 elections.
The democrats know they are in trouble come 2018. Several key Democrat Senators are up for re-election in 2018. Many of these in States that went Red.
Their battle cry during their run for re-election will be Trump cheated and was elected by Russians, we tried to stop him and tried to save America from the Russians and we failed,
"Now it's up to you the voters to stop Trump and the Russians from destroying what is left of our Democracy."
Same narrative in 2020, the next Democrat candidate and the MSM will focus on Trump being elected by Russia and not by the people.
It will work to, the lies and the seeds have been planted, now it will just take 2-4 years for these lies/seeds to turn into huge Oak Trees.
Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

It's all diversion from the investigation of the servers that is coming on Jan.21.
The Zero Administration is headed for big legal problems, and have to find some way to cover it up to avoid jail time.
And yes, this is about the 2018 and 2020 elections. The Dems know that if the pendulum were to keep swinging as it has been since actually since 2008, that the country will be far-right of center by 2020. That will lock in rightwing gains to the Supreme Court for decades.

This was to be The Year of Hillary.
She would be elected President and all that scheming and humiliation would have been worth it.
Only problem, she lost in one of the most humiliating upsets in American political history.
Not that different from the humiliating defeat she suffered at the hands of the Magic Negro in 2008.
She will go down in history as one of the greatest losers in American political history.
