It's hard to explain how awesome this gun is; this is the original design that Remington later bought and named the "SP-10". I'm only offering this to see if there is any interest in it's original condition (i.e. with it's 30" fixed full choked barrel). If not, I'll have the barrel cut/threaded and keep it forever. Interested in all interesting trades. Happy to ship to your FFL. Thanks

Briley will cut a 10g to whatever length, thread for interchangeable chokes, and include 2 chokes for around $250 + shipping IIRC.

There was a gun distributor in the south in the early 80's that had Ithaca make up some with a 24" barrel full choke. I shot a ton of turkeys, ducks and geese with it.
Should have kept it, sold it to make a house payment ......

I shoot a mag 10 supreme had the barrel cut to 28 briley chokes installed back bored forcing cone polished. I also had the gas ports opened up to run steel better. the only advantage to anything i done was it shoot steel better. if you shoot lead let it be.

Back in the 70's Dick Kirby got a bunch of those guns. A few of my friends were in on that order, only one is still owned by the original owner. It still gets carried each year and has killed a mega truck load of spring gobblers here in NY and also in PA. My friend Wally always said that they were so heavy they needed wheels......

Years back I purchased the Mag-10 called the Road Blocker with the short open choke barrel and sent it to Briley and had it fitted with a screw in Extra Full Choke and killed a few Turkeys with it, but it was so dam heavy I sold it and went back to the 3 inch 12 ga. They are nice shotguns just more than I wanted to carry all day.
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.

I had one back in the 80's and 90's that was really hard on Canada and Snow geese. Man it was heavy but I was younger. Have a Browning Gold 10 now. If it had choke tubes I would have to have it. Bump for a great gun in fine condition.
