Dale,
We all spend money with companies that if we look hard enough we can find something about how they do business that would give us an ass ache.
I have bought one gun at Dicks. That purchase being made at price that made converting it to a caliber I wanted affordable. If that situation occurs again I'll decide at that time if I want to buy from them.
So to be blunt, take your badgering to someone else.

You call it 'badgering', I call it 'raising the awareness' of those who either don't know or don't care of Dick's backstabbing and treachery towards gun owners.
I seem to have accomplished my mission.
Have a good one,
Dale

Last year I bought my first Tikka T3 Lite at Dicks. It was on clearance for $499 with a Burris FFII 3-9 with Ballistic Plex, + they had a sale for 20% off clearance firearms. It was right around $400 when I left and got a Tikka rebate for $150 in Beretta bucks. Im not a big bargain guy or coupon clipper, but felt pretty good about that one. At the time they had another 30-06 package there for the same. Fast forward to today, its still sitting there...marked as $450 clearance and another 10% off clearance firearms. I go to grab it, but no scope rings, so manager takes $50 off, out the door for a little over $350 for Tikka T3 Lite 30-06 and Burris FFII 3-9 BP. Not too shabby, check your dicks sporting goods if your in the market for a Tikka. They had a .308 left at the store in Muncy for the PA guys...save me a trip next year! That is a hella deal. Know where Wheelerville, PA is?

I took advantage of that Tikka deal last year at Dicks. It was the best deal I have ever had on a brand new rifle. It has proven to be a tack driver with my 30-06 165 grain ballistic tip handloads. I used the $150 in Beretta bucks to get 3 Tikka magazines.
It has really made me appreciate having a light weight rifle. I don't use my 10 pound pre-64 model 70's as much any more.

Was at the Dick's in Monroe, La last Friday. Not a Tikka to be seen.
