John,I recently purchased a Remington model 141 and would like your opinion as to the strength of the action on this model. Can it safely be loaded to the same pressures as a Marlin 336 ?

Do you mean will it take the same pressures, or can you use the same handloading data, say for the .35 Remington?

Any published .35 Remington data will be fine, but I really don't know which action is stronger. I haven't ever owned a 141, though a friend I knew years ago used one in .35 as his primary rifle, both for deer and elk, and never had any problems.

I think that the resident expert on the Remington 14, 14 1/2, and 141 is member rem141r. You might PM him for the answer that you're looking for.
