Even though the case colors are pretty much gone on my '86 Winchester I would like a type of cleaner to get rid of old built up oil, grease and dirt from the action that won't hurt case colors & blueing. I figure the wood will have to be removed to protect it.
Any suggestions? especially the aerosol cleaners.
I'm thinking it will be easy to remove the buttstock and flush it out to clean.
