Gonna need a new set come spring. Around here, mud isn't an issue and sand is almost non-existant. This is high desert and we have rocks. I need some thing that will stick to rocks and wear well. Large patches of tire between treads are prone to sharp rock damage. Suggestions?

I've looked at these Sedona Ripsaws. The reviews aren't bad. They do run small. Their 26" tires are the same size as 25" in other brands.

Here's the best price I've found so far.
AMAZON

How hard are these to mount at home without a tire machine?

Filer man-----I expect you may have already purchased your tires but in case you haven't , i really recommend the Sedona Ripsaws. I bought a set a couple of years ago. They are bullet proof. I actually broke a air stem off in a really tight spot and road the tire over 10 miles before i even realized it had happened. The tires are really stiff and it just looked low when i spotted the missing stem. The ride is less comfortable than the factory tires but they will climb anything and after two years show almost no wear to the really deep lugs. I no longer use chains to plow snow and when you're in deep ruts the lugs get you above the sharp rocks that used to cut my tires.
they are great but despite the name I'm pretty sure they're not made in Arizona!

Thanks. I'm still shopping. It's not getting many miles on it right now. It's a bit zesty out there for 4 wheeling.
