I bought a win model 70 in 7 wsm wal mart special with that really ugly plastic stock with the funny dots on it. Will a wooden Winchester long action or short action work? If not where to get a wood stock, I usally order from boyds but I cannot find one for the wsm model, did I just miss them? Any ideas would be great, Thank you.

There are usually a lot of Model 70 wood takeoff stock listed on ebay. You will need a post-64 short action stock, preferably with a WSM barrel contour. A short action stock from a 243/7mm-08/308 will work, but you may or may not have to sand the barrel channel a bit for clearance. Also, make sure to get a stock that is inletted for one piece or two piece bottom metal depending on what you have.

Since the "Wally World Special" rifle has a blind magazine, you might need some other parts to fill up that hole in the bottom of the stock, if you get a replacement stock.
