Those are good but
The one is YOU in the pic and your head is looking down and slightly turned right.
In your HAT and facial hair we commented that you looked like Sam Elliott.
THAT one

Thanks you WCH. I looked hard for that pic.
Now Back to Regular Programing.
Monday starts 3 days MORE of modern gun season followed immediately by 3 days MORE of Mzl season.
I'm really torn as to where to hunt. I want to see/find/kill that 'other' inferior buck around me here. However I may not ever see him this year.
There are many more deer around my Uncle's place. The thing is I'm not seeing deer during day time here. Sooo.
Good Luck to all that have hunting seasons continuing.

Glad we found the photo..
Best of luck in the hunt.. Our hunts come early, then we have to sit by and watch others have all the fun... Get another freak head, those are cool..
We are enjoying the Az.. sunshine.. Quail and doves are pretty wild, but the weather is warm and sunny.. All too soon we will have to head north to the cold weather and coyotes!!! Have a Merry Christmas, and best of luck on the hunts..

I used to bird, quail, hunt w/pointers and thoroughly enjoyed it. However people/things change. We don't have many quail locally because land owners haven't left sufficient cover/food for them.
I squirrel hunt w/22 rifle or Ruger Mk II Target 6 7/8". After deer season and I unwind I plan to bag some 'squill' as Digital Dan says. Our squirrel season is open 'most' of the year. I don't hunt them any 'atall' in very warm WX. Ticks aren't worth the squill.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you and
ALL.

That's RIGHT DOWN my alley. I could thoroughly eat that up. Might be a Christmas Dream!! Is a 300 WM stout enuff for Pronghorn ? Really, I have a 6mm Rem I'd love to shoot a Speed Goat using. Thanks for the thot. Jerry ps: IF I had feral hogs I'd be busting them and gladly have help.

the 6mm would work.. But I like a heavier bullet for days of real wind.. The best shot I ever saw on antelope was made with a .300 WM..Most calibers work, some just work better under difficult conditions..

I have killed WT, coyotes, fox, & crows with this Rem M Six, 6mm Rem. Here, we have such a long deer season I don't have to hunt WT in high wind. I have but it's not my fav condition. When Antelope hunting I understand sometimes you don't have much choice IF you're going to hunt, because of your length of trip. I also like the 7 RM w/162 HBTSP and the 300 WM with EITHER 180 HSP or 190 HBTSP. I don't remember if I have any 190s left or not. The last I heard Hornady was discontinuing them. Of course there is always the JOC, a known performer on a lot of game. I ain't ashamed. This AM I shot a Dink so hard it knocked 'her' antlers off. Jerry

They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Try #2... After the mandatory drying time and trip to the liquor store, I'm feeling I have a "fair" shot at this competition. I hope there's a major award! (a prairie dog shoot and trout fishing trip with Ingwe in Montana?) Is there a non-typical sub-category?
