I was stumbling around in the Cabela's Outpost and giving the steadily-improving rimfire inventory a squint. There were Browning hollowpoints, I forgot to look at the grains because I lasered on the claimed speed -- 1400 FPS.
Seriously?
So, anyone tried them? 11 bucks for a hundred is still heart-attack territory for me, but if they shoot like a laser then it might be worth it.

They go bang and are accurate in my BL-22 and 10/22. Winchester makes them.

They shoot well and are very hot. Caused pressure signs(swollen case head) and function problems in a couple of autoloaders.

There's been rimfire in Havre, Flave? Really? Not fair!
Okay, I will go ahead and try a box. That's pretty much snortin for a full-weight 22 RF. Might be a pleasant surprise, I didn't get many of those last year.

Yeah, we've seen ammo pretty regular.
You have to pay for it though.
The Aguila HV stuff is pretty wicked as well if you find any.

I've looked at them in the store but have passed. I have a .22 mag so don't need hyper velocity from my Long Rifle.

Very hot, they actually have discernible recoil. They don't chamber in tight chambered guns. Decently accurate.

Wow. I've seen these out, but never paid any attention to the velocity on the box. That's impressive velocity for a 40 grain bullet.

I bought a thousand rounds last fall and sited in my CZ 452 with them. They have proven to be performers since.

If I'm not mistaken they are made by Winchester and are basically the same thing as the super x hyper speed stuff.

From the packaging and performance claims, my first thought is that these might be CCI Velocitors, made/packaged for Browning.

Cool.
They have the same published performance as the Velocitor (40gr/1435 fps).
I'd shot a few packs of the Velocitors before the big drought. Over the chrono they had quite an extreme spread, like 1250-1450 fps.
Maybe these Winchesters are more consistent.
