Have a 2012 Ford Fusion, around 50,000 miles on it, makes gurgling noises. Sounds like air in heater core or overflow tank. Dealership says they can fix with some kind of kit for around 1,000 dollars, not covered under warranty. They said it would not hurt anything. Anybody have knowledge of this? Thanks

We have a 12' Mazda 3, does the same.
I think they are basically the same vehicle?
Has 80K on it, been doing it since I bought it 3-4 years ago.

These fad fusion ingredients tend to create systemic alimentary issues. Maybe a shot of Mylanta in the coolant?

Our 08 Escape does the same. Been doing it for a long time, but at 163k it's still going strong.

The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.

It's a ford. The gurgling noise is a known problem.......Fords suck. 😉

The fix for a Ford F150 was to park it on a hill and leave the radiator overflow tank open. Run the engine a bit and let it sit for awhile.
