McCain, Rubio and Little Lindsey will sink him. They've got it in for Trump.
Wouldn't be surprised if they also sink Sessions out of spite. If they do, Team Trump will fry their azzes & make their lives miserable. MM

Wouldn't be surprised if they also sink Sessions out of spite. Many a political career has been ended over the last year by underestimating Trump. Tillerson ran a company with revenues greater than the GDP of most nations. Those grilling him are mental midgets in comparison.

We will be much better served with a SecState who isn't auditioning for President (Mrs. Clinton), or who isn't trying to justify his existence (Mr. Kerry). This is an opportunity for Tillerson to cap his career with true service to his country and the world. He knows the stakes, he knows the players, and he knows how to negotiate. Trump made another great choice with Rex Tillerson.

Tillerson is only bound to serve his country for 12mths then the statute expires and he can go back to representing Exxons interests in Russia.
Not sure how he can serve 2 competing masters, Im guessing he will go with the Money as the default position.

I heard a little bit of it and Mr Tillerson sounded like the Senator and Rubio sounded like a young liberal reporter that just got his first job.

Yes, fortunately Trump is picking people with actual qualifications and a track record of performance, not picking cronies, yes men and those who are owed political favors.
In my lifetime I’ve never seen anyone in the White House but a political insider chosen by political deal makers, this new guy is going to be very interesting to watch. I agree. He's tearing up the traditional "how to" book and using his business skills and experience. This will be quite interesting to watch.

Tillerson reminds me of a high dollar exec I once knew who had a reputation of not only firing managers but escorting them to off the property, no advance notice.

What is wrong with that little R. Ginther Rubio? Somebody needs to have a "come-to-Jesus" meeting with him, maybe ask him to officially change to the Democrat party?

Rubio needs to get over himself and endorse this man. Little Marco looking bad with that outburst. Tillerson took care of him. Marco lost points, like a bunch, IMO. DF

Yep, can't wait till he gets to the State Dept. I think you reading him correctly. Wouldn't want to be a career Libtard State Dept. type around Jan. 20th or very shortly thereafter... DF

I think he's in. NH had an interview with Sen Shaheen (D) from NH, she was one of the people asking questions and she said she'd be satisfied with him getting secretary of state.

He's sinking whatever political ship he's sailing...
He needs to take a deep breath, read the tea leaves and behave accordingly.
The Primary is over. The election is over. The people have spoken. He needs to catch up, move on.

You Idiot.
Tillerson had no more peaks to conquer in his chosen field... the oil patch. No matter what happens to Exxon Mobil after he leaves, his legacy is ensured, so why would he give it a thought?
The same can be said of Ben Carson.
These accomplished men are what the Founders envisioned as Public Servants.
You idiot.
