Nice!
Never been much of a handgun guy but I am really starting to like the older Smiths!

Braggart. (Nice!)

1955 Smith & Wesson pre-27 1943 Ithaca M1911 A1 you need to trade these two junk handguns and get you a Highpoint

They don't come more classic than those two.
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

George Orwell was a Prophet, not a novelist. Read 1984 and then look around you!

yeah right. I have messed up on two ithaca's. One was in the parking lot at a gun show, 400bucks. the second was in a gun store of a pretty well known guy, his stuff appears in a lot of the reference books, pictures. He had a pristine ithaca for about 1100bucks. Another bad mistake on my part for not buying it. CMP is supposedly going to be selling 1911's pretty soon. Bet they wont be at that 20dollar figure any more that they were once.

Love that pre 27, and pristine to boot! Has a touch of holster wear and a turnline -- which made it a doable purchase

Bushmaster1313: What a nifty pair of pistols! Two different makers, two different operating actions, two different eras but two equally COOL guns! Good for you. Enjoy. Hold into the wind VarmintGuy
