Has anyone done it? What was your impression?
I really like the compact stock, but am debating if I should order a classic instead. It'll be a 7mm-08 with 21" barrel. 1" shank.

I've done 2 on the Classic and sure like that set-up. I'm sure it would work in a Hunters Edge/Compact especially keeping the barrel short.

Works in the McMillan hunter but it's all I'd want in the hunter.

I have a M70 7mm rem mag with a Bartlein 2B at 24" in a McMillan hunters edge.
