I mostly bird/waterfowl hunt. I don't like to tote a blind bag, lots of my spots are walk in hunts. I need something that has a place for a boxes of 12 ga ammo, and most of my gear is a few mouth calls, an electronic caller if I'm shooting crows, a bottle of water, a small fire kit and some miscellaneous stuff. I was looking at the tanglefree ultimate backpack but I have never had my hands on one and don't know about the quality. Any suggestion of a quality pack is appreciated.
Thanks

Nice pack Don. I hadn't seen that one. Kifaru is proud of it too it seems. Perhaps if I were a well to do Ranch Manager I could afford one!

I use a Kifaru escape and evasion pack for calling. It's only 1000ci but that's plenty of room for what your asking and it's much cheaper than the antero.

Honestly for what you are describing why spend a pile of money on a pack to haul some shells and calls around.
I used one of these in elementary school for several years hauling homework and a trapper keeper. Don't need a special spendy pack to haul a little bit of gear around.

Thanks. I like the pocket on the lower section. Kinda thinking about something with moly straps so I don't have to dig inside to get my chopper. I build lots of brush blinds. I like canvas though and have never seen a canvas pack with moly straps.
