Has anyone used or touched these? It seems like a reasonable deal for the vg stocks.

If this is the same stock that is on the Barrett lightweight rifle we should hear some reports soon. Not sure why Stocky's doesn't have ADL's?

As for the stock, I've had my hands on the Bergara Premier Stalker, which as mentioned, uses the AG Composites stock. The Bergara rep wouldn't let on to who was making the stocks, but if I'd had to guess, I would have Hi-Tech Specialties. That said, the AG Composite felt very much like the Hi-Tech in my hands.

The forend appears to be shaped about like a 2x3 block of wood.

I picked up an AG Composites CAT during the Christmas sale. It is rather 2x4 like in the forend and NOTHING like the High Tech Specialties I have. I picked up one of the Proof Sendero profile blanks as well. The stock is inletted for that profile and there's room for more if that tells you anything. Proof's Sendero profile is more akin to a M24. Not a huge flat on the bottom of the forend. More like my Kimber Montana 338 Win stock with....um....viagra.
