I was shopping today for a pair of binos for our son for his 18th birthday.

Didn't want any thing too outrageous in price so I was looking at 10 x 42 Nikon's, Bushenell's etc.

Then the guy showed me the Redfield. WOW were things crisp and clear for the price range they are in!

I liked them so well, I bought a second pair to keep in my truck.

Anybody else have these?

I could never get enthused about anything named Rebel since Honda tried it.

I also just picked up a pair of Rebel's to keep in my boat. My intentions were to get 10x42 Nikon Prostaff 3 when I started looking at binoculars but as soon as I looked through them I knew I had to find something else. I hadn't even considered Redfield's but they were beside the Nikon's so I picked them up expecting to be disappointed, but I was surprised at how bright and clear they were. I think the Redfield's will make a great pair of bino's for watching jug lines.
