Does any of the big barrel makers have a Tikka sporter replacement or are they all special contour for a Tikka? Also has anyone rebarrrled one with a gunsmith off the fire with good results. Was thinking Fosnaugh or Kampfeld ( not sure if he's doing builds or not). Thanks Jerrad

I know Tiikka's use metric threads; however they should be easy to rebarrel if necessary.

As I understand it, Tikka barrels are pretty good. What are you trying to accomplish?
Okie John
If Montana had a standing army, a 270 Win with Federal Blue Box 130's would be the standard issue.

Okie John yes tikka barrels are good so much so, that you might just be very very pissed off after spending alot of money rebarreling a custom remington 700

Jerry, they use McGowen. Jerrad, go to the link Jerry provided. They are pretty reasonable on price. They'll use other blanks as well.
