I had a matched upper lower set sitting idle so I decided to build a new 18" SPR. Only thing I was lacking was a decent trigger so I rolled down to Rainier Arms since it is only 15 minutes away. Seems there is a new trigger out of Washington from James Madison Tactical called the Saber. It's a single stage cassette trigger and come complete with anti-rotation pins for under $100.

My sample has just the tiniest amount of smooth take up and releases crisply at 3lb 4oz. Reset is short and positive. It's no Geisselle but it's also not $250 and definitely whoops the [bleep] out of anything in it's price range.

I think they are only available from the maker, Brownells and Rainier Arms so far.

Features:
Single-stage
3.5- 4.0 lb. pull weight
