I have a flat top AR-15 which I had a Trijicon Reflex II 1x24 Sight on it. It was sighted dead on for 50 yards. I just placed the sight onto a 1/2 inch riser. I haven't gone to re-sight it in but I'm curious if anyone has an idea how much I will have to raise the sight in clicks to get it shooting dead center at 50 yards. I'm curious how many inches lower at 50 yards it will now be hitting with the sight now installed on 1/2 inch riser.

If I read the spec correctly it is 1 moa per click and you will be 1/2 inch low at 50 yards. Answer one click. Assuming everything is mounted back in perfect alignment. That maybe a big assumption in this case. I will 'guess' in theory you will be hitting 1/2 lower and need one click elevation.

Are you shooting one hole groups at 50 yards? I am struggling to be polite and not make and assumptions. Some AR shooters will not detect a 1/2" error in POI. You might be off in both directions windage and elevation due to how things shift around with the re mounting. I dont know, at 5o yards, I guess it take a lot of error to see a change.

Thanks Fourbore. It was not a one hole group at 50 yards but it was pretty tight one to two inch groups with a few flyers. LOL. But I haven't been back at the range since I put on the riser. Your information is very helpful. Thank you.
